Member-Join SWOA – Shuswap Waterfront Owners Association

As a member of the Shuswap Waterfront Owners Association you benefit with:

A website full of articles detailing the rules and regulations associated with living and building on the lake
Members that regularly attend meetings of the CSRD, the Shuswap Watershed Council and other organizations that make decisions impacting you and your waterfront property.
Regular newsletters updating you on the latest news and events of concern to waterfront property owners
Access to a group of knowledgeable individuals on the Board of Directors
The power of over 1300 members ensuring that the priorities of waterfront owners are heard by politicians and government officials
The benefit of SWOA working with local Chambers of Commerce and other community groups
Having a voice in the discussion of local issues such as local Building rules, Dock & Buoy regulations, Water Quality, Recreation Management etc.

Please Note: Membership is limited to waterfront or semi-waterfront property owners only.

Initial Membership Cost: $50 for the first two years, then Annual Cost: $25 per year thereafter.

You have three payment options:

1) Interac e-Transfer (online banking)

If you use online banking you can pay with an Interac e-Transfer.
From your online banking choose the e-transfer option.
For the recipient details use SWOA for the name and use payments@swoa.ca for the email.
Please include your email and your waterfront address in the memo/message field.

2) PayPal (you do not need a PayPal account)

If you have a PayPal account enter your login information and proceed to check out.
If you are using a credit card on the PayPal site click the Pay with a credit or Visa Debit card . Enter your credit card information and proceed to check out. PayPal will ask if you would like to use your credit card information to create a PayPal account. If you do not want to set up an account select Not Now below "Agree and Continue" at the bottom of the form.
On completion you will be asked to return to SWOA and to login.

3) Cheque

Make cheques payable to the Shuswap Waterfront Owners Association
And send to : Box 24123, Scotch Creek, BC V0E 3L0
And send us an email at membership@swoa.ca with the following information:
First and Last name:
Lake Address:
Home address if different than lake address:
Contact phone number:
Number of persons on lake property title:
When we receive your cheque we will email you your login information.
