The Shuswap Watershed Council, run by a board of about 20 including local politicians, First Nations and a couple of 'public' members. It is advised by a number of government departments, like Agriculture and MFLNRO, who provide expertise and opinions. SWC replaces SLIPP, the Shuswap Lakes Integrated Planning Process.
